“Shushi: Mental Maps” interdisciplinary project studies the memory of the Armenian population of Shushi (Nagorno Karabakh / Artsakh) who were forcibly displaced as a result of the 44-day Artsakh war in the fall of 2020. Everyday narratives, scattered details, and tender ties are presented in the context of traumatic memory, which is revived by interviews with IDPs and their mental maps.
